If you’re thinking about investing in property, but don’t have enough funds to make an outright purchase, you may be interested to know that it’s possible to borrow money through an SMSF and receive many of the same benefits as traditional property investment. You can borrow up to 80% of the value of residential property and 70% of commercial property, however this is subject to meeting the lenders borrowing requirements.
