Ivan Filipovic is the Founder of Redwood, and has worked as a financial services professional for over 25 years. His career includes professional services firms, large ASX listed companies and US hedge funds. In 2012, he decided to be brave and do something and  “be your own boss” creating Redwood.

Redwood’s motto is to educate mum and dad investors all around Australia on the benefits of taking control of your super to invest in residential and commercial property using “Self Managed Superannuation Funds” or “SMSFs”.

Ivan is driven to spend all his time and energy in educating SMSF investors before making the critical move to take control of your super. Ivan differentiates himself as a SMSF specialist to his competitors, he is:

Joza joined Redwood at inception and is an experienced finance and property professional bringing over 25 years of property and finance experience to Redwood.

Joza is driven to ensure she and her team work together to benefit clients. She is a
firm believer in taking stock of the bigger picture and focusing on whole of life health, financial, emotional, physical and mental to benefit our clients. Joza is responsible for all financial matters as well as customer and staff experience. Joza will assist in the administration of customer affairs, delivery of financial information to clients and will assist in mortgage broking and property administration for our clients.

Joza works on a flexible arrangement mostly from home as she raises two children.
Her hobbies include AFL (Go Hawks), Family activities and Traveling.

Rachel Joined Redwood in 2015 and with a small break to raise a child, is still with Redwood today (thankfully!). Rachel has 7 years SMSF experience with industry experience of over 15 years.

Rachel is a driven professional and is well versed in everything SMSF, from SMSF establishment and SMSF Accounting and audit. Rachel is responsible for the client experience at Redwood including processing of SMSFs and client correspondence and is well known to Redwood clients.

Rachel loves to spend time with family including her husband and child and travelling when possible.

Max is an Accountant responsible for the accounting and audit of SMSFs at
Redwood.

Max Joined Redwood in 2023 bringing 5 years of SMSF experience in SMSF administration and audit. Max is responsible for the administration and audit of SMSFs and brings an “eagle eye” to detail, Max brings a positive attitude to the team and our clients, always positive and always happy. Max is diligent in his work and always be proactive to ensure a positive client experience.

Kerrie is an experienced finance professional and is responsible for the administration of residential (non-SMSF) finance including home loans and refinance including first home buyer loans.

Kerrie will assist Ivan with all finance inquiries and liaise with clients to ensure the service is timely and finance timelines are met.

Kerrie works remotely from regional and coastal NSW (very lucky) and is focused on daily exercise, keeping her garden tidy and spending time with her husband.
